Trimble enters into an agreement with the Norwegian County Councils
Trimble with its partners BuildingPoint Scandinavia and Norkart, has won the framework agreement for the delivery of Civil Engineering Design and Construction Solutions for planning and designing of County council roads in Norway.
The Tender process (competition with negotiations) started in December 2020, and Trimble was selected as the winner in February 2021. The Contract is for a 3 year period, with an optional prolongation to, in total, 8 years.
Vivento has assisted the County Council in the procurement process.
The background for the agreement is that all the County Councils, except Oslo which do not have county roads, are now responsible for administering the county road network. This includes Agder, Innlandet, Møre og Romsdal, Nordland, Rogaland, Vestfold and Telemark, Trøndelag, Troms and Finnmark, Vestland and Viken.
With this agreement, the County Councils get a joint agreement with one partner - Trimble Solutions Sandvika AS. The agreement covers ICT solutions for the entire life cycle of a road project, and includes licenses for software, cloud service for BIM collaboration, support, training and further development. The solutions offered include the design tool Novapoint Infrastructure Design Suite, the collaboration platform Quadri and Trimble Connect, the construction tool Tekla Structures, as well as GIS solutions such as QGIS and GISLINE, analysis and data hub systems such as Datavarehuset and Datatorget, and more.

Trimble med sine samarbeidspartnere BuildingPoint Scandinavia og Norkart, har vunnet rammeavtalen om leveranse av IKT-løsning for å planlegge og prosjektere fylkesvei. Konkurranse med forhandling ble utlyst i desember 2020, og avgjort i februar 2021. Kontrakten har en varighet på minst 3 år med mulig forlengelse inntil 8 år totalt.
Vivento har bistått Fylkeskommunen i anskaffelsesprosessen.
Bakgrunnen for avtalen er at alle Fylkeskommunene, bortsett fra Oslo som ikke har fylkesveier, har nå selv ansvaret for å administrere fylkesvegnettet. Dette inkluderer Agder, Innlandet, Møre og Romsdal, Nordland, Rogaland, Vestfold og Telemark, Trøndelag, Troms og Finnmark, Vestland og Viken.
Med denne avtalen, får Fylkeskommunene en felles avtale med én avtalepartner - Trimble Solutions Sandvika AS. Avtalen dekker IKT-løsninger for hele livssyklusen til et vegprosjekt, og innbefatter lisenser til programvare, skytjeneste for samhandling, support, kurs og videreutvikling. Løsningene som tilbys er bl.a, prosjekteringsverktøyet Novapoint Infrastructure Design Suite, samhandlingsløsningen Quadri og Trimble Connect, konstruksjonsverktøyet Tekla Structures, samt GIS-løsninger som QGIS og GISLINE, analyse- og datahubsystemer som Datavarehuset og Datatorget, med flere.
