Today, there are many ways to bring the digital model into the real world. You have the Trimble SiteVision with built in GNSS and the XR10 with HoloLens2, both of which take data directly from Trimble Connect and display it for you on top of (or mixed with) the real world.
However, these solutions does require that you bring extra gear with you. If that is OK for you then these solutions are fantastic! On the other hand, if you could use a device that you already have with you - the mobile smartphone - the threshold for taking advantage of AR becomes next to nothing!
