When buying your Tekla software subscription trough BuildingPoint Scandinavia - a reseller of Tekla since the 1990s - we provide the care that is needed to ensure successful use of the Tekla software!

What is the Tekla Care Program?

The Tekla Care Program from BuildingPoint Scandinavia is our way of ensuring that customers that choose to work with us gets the service level they expect!

We have split the service offering into three levels:

Basic

The Tekla Care Basic program has the normal services that are included in the Tekla subscription, like e-mail support and software maintenance.

Plus

The Tekla Care Plus program includes everything in Basic, plus additional benefits like cloud firm settings, many free Tekla extensions, direct phone support and user-onboarding.

Pro

The Tekla Care Pro program is our top tier service level and it includes everything in Basic and Plus.

In addition the Care Pro subscription includes a dedicated Technical Account Manager, an “extended support bank”, lunch and learn sessions, ALL our Tekla extensions/apps

Tekla User Days Tekla User Day is an event for the users with technical presentations from our team and customer to inspire and fuel motivation. The day will help generate new ideas for the participants and expand your network in the Tekla community. It is also a great chance to meet the BuildingPoint team. Support Email Sometimes you may have complex challenges that requires a long explanation and attachments, and email is great for that, perhaps in combination with chat or phone support. X X X

Cloud firm settings
(Basic set-up)
Firm setup in the cloud (Trimble Connect) gives you a safe place to store your company’s Tekla specific settings! The benefit is that it is easy for admin to share updated files and other content, and it is easy for users to download and stay updated! X X
On-boarding program When you buy software or introduce new users it is important to get started in the right way. Avoid silly mistakes and do the right things from the start. Our on-boarding takes care of the admininstrator of the licenses as well as the users of Tekla! X X
Service frame agreement In our care program we offer pre-agreed service agreements to make it easy for you to call off time and allocate our people to support you in projects. X X
BIM Awards Tekla BIM Awards is very popular for several reasons. First of all it is a great way to bring attention to your project - free promotion of your company's strengths and acheivements to generate company internal pride and to celebrate, but also external exposure to create more opportunities. Secondly, it is a chance to win prizes for your team! X X
Dedicated Technical Account Manager Having a dedicated Technical Account Manager is available for Care Pro customers. This person will be familiar with your company's way of working and will be available for issues that require more know-how that one can expect from others in the support team. X
Extended Support
(hour bank)
Extended support is support that goes beyond the help that one can expect on a support hotline. "Regular" support is help that enables you to solve your problem, while "extended" support means that we can go hands-on with your challenge! 10 hours per year, logged and reported back. Available for Care Pro. X
Training Tailored
(additional cost)
We offer custom training courses to Care Pro subscribers. The training course fee is priced individually depending on the level of custom preparation required and other factors. X
Lunch and Learn Lunch and Learn sessions are short (25-45 minutes) technical presentations that we prepare for your industry vertical, or focusing on particular topics of interest to your team. Unlike recorded Tips & Tricks videos, we run these live (on-site or virtually) and your team can ask questions and discuss with our instructors! X
3 years agreement Care Pro customers have the possibility to plan further ahead and discuss multi-year contracts to focus on long term return on investment and even bigger achievements with the Tekla software. X

WHAT: This extension lets you change the colors of the Tekla model view background.

WHY: This saves you time when you need to change the background for creating pictures or personal preferences.

UDA Switch

WHAT: This extension lets you batch edit or re-order User-Defined Attributes (UDAs) on objects.

WHAT: Tekla lets you export many reports. Normally the files are exported as text files. Many users prefer to edit reports in Excel and this tool lets you export reports as CSV files

Precast Bridge Beams profiles

WHAT: Standardized concrete beam add-on/plugin

WHY: Downloading these beams you will have concrete beams with the correct size and shape according to the Norwegian Road Administration standards to your disposal in your model.

Sequence number object

WHAT: This tool can be used to number objects in a specific sequence  (one by one picking), starting from any number. The number can be with prefix and with preliminary "0" ex: F0012 - F0013 - F0014 etc.". (Does not work for reinforcement, bolts and assembly)

WHY: Adds flexibility and saves time.

Tverrfaglig Merkesystem (TFM)

WHAT: Norway specific: The "Tverrfaglig Merkesystem" is a tagging system that is mandatory for some projects with Statsbygg or Forsvarsbygg. This utility adds a tab in modeling view to add the TFM11 attribute and export IFC files with the attribute included.

WHY: Mandatory requirement in some project, this extension saves you a lot of time by adding properties during modeling, instead of afterwards.

CCS Type ID Assignment

WHAT: Denmark specific: This "CCS Type ID Assignment" tool is designed to automate the assignment of CCS. Based on user criteria, the CCS code is assigned to Tekla model objects as a UDA value. CCS codes are automatically assigned based on either name of the model objects or user Selection Filters created in Tekla. Further, this tool provides a User Interface for managing all the assigned CCS values, and making any modifications where needed.

WHY: Helps you meet requirements from Danish government related to classifications of model in the CCS system.

    Bear in mind: If we make extensions with the understanding that we can share them afterwards, they will be included. However, if we create extensions or components on demand as a consultancy project, we may not be able to share these.
