The solutions are based on basic user input and offers a streamlined connection modeling and analysis process! Additionally, the library allows users to contribute and share their own connections to fuel collaboration in your team. Watch the video to get started!
In the video, we first discuss the web connection library in IDEA StatiCa. We demonstrate how to access the library from the IDEA StatiCa website and how you input the rough shape of a connection, and explore suggested solutions.

You can chose between different sets within the connection library, such as "Predefined," "Personal," and "Company," each serving specific purposes for your personal productivity or for the whole team.
In the video we demonstrate the process of designing a connection, publishing it to the library, and later retrieving and applying it for a similar project is explained.
Where does the data come from?
The database is built on anonymized data collected through the IDEA StatiCa Viewer application which means that the library provides guidance for modeling steel connections. However, users must apply loadings and verify designs on a project-specific basis.
Users can contribute to the library by uploading their connections to the viewer, which will be included in the connection library.
