Magnús Skúlason, an experienced structural engineer specializing in structural design and foundations.
With extensive expertise in analyzing complicated structures, including performing seismic assessments for both concrete and steel structures, Magnús currently serves as Construction Group Leader at Verkís, the oldest consulting engineering firm in Iceland.
Magnús will introduce the design for the new Health Sciences Department building at the University of Iceland, which includes both new construction and a full renovation.
They are using Building Information Modeling (BIM) for seamless coordination from start to finish. With Tekla for structural modeling and BIM cloud collaboration, our approach ensures precision and efficiency throughout the project.
Sten Tuudak, Trimble
Sten Tuudak is Concrete Technical Manager in Trimble’s Tekla division.
In his presentation he will provde great tips on how to identify and rectify modeling errors in steel and concrete structures, and thus help you improving project quality.
He will also give a demo of precast sandwich wall panel construction!
Overall, the presentation will provide insight into how to work efficiently in concrete projects and provide great tips and tricks related to concrete and prefabricated concrete and other building elements.

Krzysztof Wojslaw is a bridge engineer, blogger, and YouTuber with a huge interest in new technologies, design methods and digital innovations in AEC industry. He is particularly focused on the use of parametric design to make advanced 3D models, and automatization of tedious tasks.
Engineers around the world can take advantage of his knowledge through his online training on LearnGrasshopper.com, which is centered around innovative use of Rhino Grasshopper. He was the 2021 winner of the EFCA Future Leaders Award - Europes most talented Engineer, and is known as an enthusiastic and knowledgable speaker.
His presentation will adress Automated Drawing generation in Tekla, with the use of Grasshopper!
