Trimble Connect QUICK TIP: How to perform a quality check of the model object information!

VIDEO: Trimble Connect Quick Tip video demo/tutorial.

Are you using Trimble connect for your project and wonder how to do the quality check of the model object information? Do you want to check which model objects is missing a certain type of information?

Trimble connect rule based organizer can help you with that!

Video example, tutorial

In the video you can see a quick example of how to use Trimble Connect Organizer to solve this challenge.

In the example his project every object should have the MMI code set (it would be the same for LOD).

You will use the Organizer panel to add a new group and create a rule definition by adding properties you want to group by - in this case the MMI status.

You can choose to colorize the grouping by clicking the end bucket. For example, you may want to adjust the colors so they match with the color code in MMI user guide!

This way you can we get a nice visualization of what project progress is. Also this may help you see if there are objects which don't have MMI code!

Since rule based groups are dynamic you don’t have to redo the coloring!

Hope you find it useful!
