COMING UP: IDEA StatiCa User Meetings taking place in Oslo, Stavanger, Copenhagen, and Aarhus during September 2024!
These half-day events aim to bring together (enthusiastic) users to share experiences, discuss and explore the latest advancements and best practices in structural design and analysis using IDEA StatiCa!
Below, we introduce some speakers who will be presenting at each location, highlighting their expertise and contributions to the field!
GUEST SPEAKERS
Oslo
Norconsult
In Oslo, you will have the opportunity to meet Harald Ågedal from Norconsult. He will present their workflow utilizing IDEA StatiCa, Tekla, and FEM Design, supported by practical examples.
Harald will also provide a brief overview of the history of connection design tools and discuss how IDEA StatiCa has established itself as a highly efficient solution in this area!
Stavanger
Moreld Apply
Marek Kapral from Moreld Apply will present how they leverage IDEA StatiCa in offshore projects and integrate the software into their workflow.
He’ll highlight IDEA StatiCa’s flexibility and its interoperability with global analysis tools like SCIA and Staad.PRO.
Marek will also share insights from past and ongoing projects, discussing how the ability to perform code checks during analysis, and other features, has been crucial for their work in brownfield modification projects - as well as other aspects of daily life as an (enthusiastic) IDEA StatiCa user in the offshore industry!
Copenhagen and Aarhus
KI Rådgivende Ingeniører
Through a series of case studies and a presentation titled “Designing Smarter: Expertise Meets Innovation”, Nuno Martins from KI Rådgivende Ingeniører will showcase how IDEA StatiCa can be used for delivering value-driven engineering and pushing the boundaries of steel structural design and innovation.
