The BuildingPoint Scandinavia and IDEA StatiCa teams would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making the first ever IDEA StatiCa User Meetings in the Nordics a success!
During 2024 BuildingPoint Scandinavia hosted a series of IDEA StatiCa User Meetings, marking the first time these events have taken place across the Nordic region.
With around 170 registrations from structural engineers and industry professionals in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway, the meetings provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and networking.
User presentations
IDEA StatiCa, the world-leading software solution for connection design and concrete detail analysis, was naturally at the center of these events.
Attendees had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the tool through presentations on workflows, best practices, and real-world case studies shared by leading companies, including Norconsult, AFRY, Rambøll, Moreld Apply, and KI Consulting Engineers, and we appreciate the effort by everyone that contributed with a presentation!

Networking and social event
In addition to the technical sessions, participants enjoyed the opportunity to meet fellow users during breaks and at evening social events. These gatherings, complete with drinks and snacks, offers an opportunity for informal discussions, allowing young and senior professionals to exchange ideas, experiences, and solutions in a relaxed setting.
Representatives from IDEA StatiCa’s product teams traveled from the Czech Republic to offer direct insights into new features in the software, and answer questions, and meet users in the Nordics. They took notes and listened to your input!

Additionally, BuildingPoint Scandinavia team members shared practical tips and tricks and example use cases, allowing partipants at the User Meetings to enhance their efficiency and accuracy in structural engineering tasks!
