Parametric workflows for complex geometry at the new Drammen City Bridge

The new Drammen City Bridge presents slim, clean lines and a welcoming expression for pedestrians and drivers alike. Behind the surface, however, lies curved and twisting geometry, congested reinforcement, and late design changes added to an already demanding design. From an early phase, the team at Degree of Freedom chose a fully parametric approach to make it all come together.

In this article, we hear from Adrián Enríquez and Birger Opgård in Degree of Freedom about the project and how parametric modeling made the project both manageable and adaptable.
