Your collaboration and trust are the foundation of everything we do, and together, we’ve achieved a lot over the past year!
As 2024 draws to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on the past year and extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has been part of our journey.
We care
One of the key milestones in 2024 was the launch of the Tekla Care Program. This initiative, introduced at the start of the year, was developed to enhance the value we provide to Tekla Structures customers in Norway, Denmark and Iceland.
The program offers benefits such as support, training, software extensions, and other tailored services.
The Tekla Care Program has already shown its potential, and we are confident it will improve the experience of our customers. As the program develops further, we look forward to continuing to meet the changing needs of the Tekla community.
Expanding our offering
In a year marked by challenges in parts of the construction industry, we were pleased to see growth in our customer base and increased interest in our solutions! This included the successful inclusion of Rhino Grasshopper into our portfolio, a solution that is already a strong addition to Tekla workflows in the industry. We also expanded our collaboration with One Click LCA, adding new capabilities for sustainability-focused projects.
Our own developed tools, including Trimble Connect Rebar Labels, Trimble Connect Planner, Tekla Cut Optimizer, Tekla Logging Tool, and IFC PostProcessor, also gained notable traction. Customers across the Nordics (and beyond!) are leveraging these tools to improve workflow efficiency and meet project demands and this success strongly influences our plans and ambitions for 2025!
Engagement!
Engagement with our customers and partners was an important focus for us this year. We held Tekla User Days in Norway and Denmark, bringing professionals together to share knowledge and practical experiences.
We also organized seven IDEA StatiCa User Meetings across the Nordics, providing a platform to discuss advanced structural design and analysis solutions, and for customer to showcase their experience.
These events were met with positive feedback and demonstrated the value of face-to-face collaboration. Based on this year’s success, similar events are planned for 2025 to continue supporting and learning from our community, stay tuned for more information! We also participated in many industry events across the nordics organized by our valued industry partners within different sectors, like steel, concrete, offshore, and events organized by our suppliers – and we thank you for the effort of organizing the events, and the opportunity to participate!
Voices from the industry
Like in previous years, we also made room for our customers to share detailed insights into how they use our solutions in their projects in our user meetings, while other companies contributed with case studies on our blog showcasing the practical benefits of their advanced tools, expertise and experiences from the industry.
These examples help highlight how technology can address real-world challenges and improve project outcomes, hopefully serving as inspiration for others in the industry, as well as future generations of engineers!
Growth
Although the construction industry has faced some regional slowdowns this year, our business has continued to grow. A notable development has been increased activity in the offshore sector. Many of our tools, originally designed for building and infrastructure projects, have proven highly effective in offshore applications as well.
Our more traditional market segments are also active with a strong performance in infrastructure but also in the building sector where prefabricated concrete elements and steel are continuing to be an area with potential and high activity!
Looking Ahead to 2025
As we move into the new year, we remain focused on providing the tools, expertise, and services that help our customers succeed. Your collaboration and feedback are key to our progress, and we are optimistic about the opportunities ahead!
